Produces tall stems topped with delicate rose-pink raggedy flowers.

 

Description

This plant is shallow rooted, so just firm the plant on top of the soil somewhere where it won’t be washed away.

Top tip: Can be grown in a basket in the pond as long as the soil is just at the waterline.

Flowers: Late May – August

Height: 20-80cm

Propagation: Divide plants.

Soil conditions: Rich, moisture retaining and shady.

Planting: Best planted out somewhere where it is kept continually wet, but can be a 5lt planting crate using heavy garden loam with the water level at or just below the top of the soil.
