Description

The drumstick primula is easy to grow and readily multiplies into good clumps.  The flowers are surprisingly robust in standing up to the Spring weather and plants continue flowering for a couple of months.  Flowers well in full sun or dappled shade.

Top tip: Ideal poolside companion, to give a vibrant colour focus early in the year.

Flowers: April – June

Height: 20-30cm

Propagation: Divide plants.

Soil conditions: Best planted out somewhere where soil never dries out.

Planting:  Rich, moist soil with plenty of organic content.
